As a former New Ager saved by grace, I use my content to share my testimony, encourage community, expose deception, and inspire hope in a changing, disconnected world.
For three years, I was caught up in New Age practices, believing I was discovering hidden truth, inner wisdom and enlightenment. But secretly, I was struggling, trapped in endless cycles of energy work and healing modalities – and searching for peace in all the wrong places.
I stumbled upon New Age during a tough time in my life when I was searching for answers. I got into mediumship and started a life coaching business. At the same time, I was writing a poetry book through automatic writing and tapping into the spiritual realm through tarot cards, channelling, and Akashic readings. I thought I was raising my consciousness, healing old wounds and contributing to a more loving and peaceful world.
But the deeper I got into spiritual and self-healing practices, the more I needed and the emptier I felt.
I was drowning in silent shame, because I thought I wasn’t doing enough inner work, meditating, or manifesting. On 27 November 2024, I called out to Jesus in a moment of desperation. Since then, so much of my life has changed. The stable peace, freedom and hope I have now are completely different to the temporary highs and counterfeit blessings I had in New Age.
I choose to dedicate my life to highlighting God as much as I can, because He’s the reason I’m out of darkness and desperation. I hope that some of what I share sparks a gentle curiosity to find and get to know Jesus personally.
